sends job offer to correspondent offices in the foreign country

Correspondent
offices accept applications from health professionals

|
|

Correspondent
offices forward applications to PRN in the U.S. through official
courier

|
|
PRN
reviews applications and submits to Facility in the U.S. for
their selection and approval
|

Facility
may send representative to interview nurse applicants
|
| |
|
| |
Facility
offers employment to nurse applicants of their choice
|
| |
|
| |
Facility
sends letters of acceptance with contracts to applicants stating
salary, duration of contract, benefits and other terms through
PRN

| |
U.S.
Immigration files a petition for nurses that the Facility
has sponsored
|
| |
|
| |
Applicants
receive notice of approval of petition within 3 to 6 months
from National Visa Center (NVC) in New Hampshire
|
| |
|
| |
NVC
forwards notice of approval to Immigration lawyer and U.S.
Embassy of the country where the nurse will be coming from
(e.g. Philippines)
|
| |
|
| |
U.S.
Embassy does further processing, then gives notice of interview
date to applicants and the necessary documents to bring (takes
approx. 4-6 months)
|

|
| |
Applicants
go for a physical and medical examination at the designated
facility of choice of the U.S. Embassy
|
| |
|
| |
Applicants
are interviewed then Visa is given within a week or two
|
| |
|
| |
PRN
staff gives pre-departure orientation
|
| |
|
| |
PRN
notifies Facility in the U.S. of the scheduled departure of
the nurses and expected
arrival in the U.S.
|

| |
PRN
staff and Facility representative meet nurses at the airport
|
| |
|
| |

| |
